Ryan Day is an American football coach and former college football player, presently serving as the 24th coach and head football coach at Ohio State University.

Ryan Patrick Day was born on March 12, 1979, in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. He was raised by a single mother, Lisa Day following the death of his father, Raymond Day, on January 20, 1988, who died of suicide when he was nine years old.

Ryan Day was raised alongside two younger brothers, Chris and Tim. He attended Manchester Central High School in Manchester, New Hampshire and later proceeded to the University of New Hampshire.
